Amapiano music producer Busta 929 has added another property under his name. The Ngixolele hitmaker proved that he is more than just a DJ because he is also a businessman.
The project the star started is now completed. Busta 929 always lets fans in on the process of building the rooms to rent. In 2024, Busta 929 showed off his newly acquired property, which was still in the building process. Some fans joked that he was building a Primary School.
According to an X page @KasiEconomy, Busta 929 has completed the project, and the rooms go for R2200 per month. The double-storey rooms are located in Freedom Park, Soweto.

Xabiso Lombo shared with Briefly News that there is a common misconception that investing in properties in the township is cheaper.
"There is a widely accepted myth that investing in township properties is better than investing in properties in the city purely because they are cheaper," she said. "The perceived benefits of investing in properties in areas like Freedom Park, Soweto, are that it is cheaper to acquire and the area is in demand. Therefore, your rental yield will be high."

Some social media users were cheering for the music producer and DJ. This is how they reacted to his post:
@SpherSparks joked:
"Imagine going to groove and you see your landlord playing, and you didn’t pay rent."
@Pinkdoll_love stated:
"Smart guy. He is a born businessman. Not loud."
@MolefeGatshrgueeni argued:
"Good investment, but R2200 is way too expensive, ekasi."
@PSelialia responded:
"This is beautiful. I hope there won't be those protection fee nonsene."
@Toh_Raw stated:
"If it were a student accommodation, he would have easily got R4500 per room each month, and I never understood the logic. Are students richer than normal civilians?"
@Kwanele_Mfiso said:
"He’s smart for investing in property, excellent move. But R2200 is way too much for those F2 rooms, no ways!"
@sancho9907 stated:
"The way everyone with some money is building rental homes these days will lead to another 2008 market crash. At least the supply is still enough for the demand at the moment."
@SiviweNG reacted:
"You shouldn't have shown this. On that picture alone, you can see a number of safety compliance issues."
@t_b_mathibedi responded:
"Congratulations and well done. The entertainment industry is tricky, and having an additional, sustainable source of income is imperative."
@JohnDoe_int responded:
"I wonder how many other investments he has. For someone who's made a lot of money, this can't be his only investment. Hopefully. Because that would be crazy."
