The brother of Limpopo star Melita “Kharishma” Mogale has shared an update regarding the artist's health after the tragic car accident on Friday morning, 31 October 2025.

This comes after Mogale's family confirmed that the musician was still fighting for her life at Polokwane Hospital.

Nthekgeng Mogale, who is Kharishma's brother, revealed to City Press on Sunday, 16 November 2025, that the artist is out of danger and is recovering in the hospital.

"We have moved from fighting for life to recovery. It was a bad accident, but we managed to secure life and do what needed to be done," said Nthekgeng.

Entertainment channel Inside Out News shared on its X account on 31 October 2025 that the musician was involved in a car crash.

While hospitalised, Kharishma bagged two nominations at the SAMAs. Sharing with Briefly News journalist Jessica Gcaba, the SAMAs said, “While we celebrate her exceptional artistry and the recognition she has earned through her nominations, we do so with a spirit of compassion and solidarity. This moment reminds us that behind every song and every performance is a human story, one of strength, vulnerability, and resilience," they said.

The organisation praised the star's authentic talent and wished her a speedy recovery.

Tsaka claims Kharishma's ex-boyfriend took her R1million

In more entertainment news, Briefly News previously reported that social media influencer and musician Tsaka dragged Kharishma's ex-boyfriend and former manager on social media.

Kharishma was involved in a car crash in October 2025, which claimed the life of her driver.
