Naledi Aphiwe is not letting up. The rising singer appeared to take a fresh swipe at MaWhoo on 20 October 2026, when a screenshot from her Instagram Story began doing the rounds online - and it had people talking.

In the post, Naledi appeared to allude to MaWhoo's earlier boast that her partner had purchased three properties for her, all registered under her name. Without naming anyone directly, Naledi wrote:

"We just wanted to be like you and make our parents happy, but you guys go and surprise yours with 3 houses registered in your own names! No way, we can't compete with that—you guys go ahead; we'll just stick with our 4-room house back home."

How the Naledi and MaWhoo feud started

Naledi recently revisited the backstory of her falling out with MaWhoo in a podcast appearance, tracing it back to a clash with MaWhoo's sister, Amahle.

According to Naledi, the trouble began when Amahle booked her for an event. On the day, Naledi arrived with her entourage, but Amahle reportedly refused to let her crew in and insisted they pay entry. Naledi pushed back, explaining that the group was part of her professional team. After a back-and-forth, Naledi and her people walked out.

She claims that the following day, Amahle sent her a string of insulting messages, and she fired back. As for MaWhoo's involvement, Naledi believes the singer stepped in to defend her sister, but maintains that MaWhoo had no business inserting herself into a matter that did not concern her.

The feud between Naledi and Amahle has since played out very publicly, with both women trading jabs in social media posts and TikTok livestreams.
