Langa Mavuso is weeks away from releasing a new album that promises to be emotionally rich.
The singer took to social media to describe the upcoming album as "a collection of letters to myself". He also shared that it's aptly titled, Therapy (The Other Side). The album is set for release on 3 October 2025.
The 31-year-old says he sat with every version of himself while putting together this record — the lost boy, the seeker, the healer and the believer.
“Each track is a page torn from my soul, a confession, a memory, a prayer.”

To put together Therapy, the singer likely drew from his painful experience of losing his partner, Chef Lentswe Bhengu, in 2023. Bengu died after a short battle with an illness that had him hospitalised.
Langa had a difficult time coming to grips with his partner's passing, saying the seven years they spent together were "pure love".
He said that while they fought a lot, they also loved hard and built a life for the two of them. Nothing ever made them doubt their love for each other.
"Regardless of the strain, we knew we loved each other."

Earlier this year, YouTube sensation Lasizwe Dambuza revealed that he and Langa weren't on the best of terms.
The fallout allegedly happened after Langa was invited to be a guest on Lasizwe's hit show, Awkward Dates. The show centres around celebrities who playfully join Lasizwe for a romantic first date and pretend they don't know who he is.

But according to Lasizwe, Langa not only went completely off script, but he also kept them waiting for two hours while he did his makeup.
"We were chilled and were like, it happens. He then sat, we started shooting, and he started attacking me on the date," Lasizwe revealed during an episode of his show, Drink or Tell the Truth.
"He kept mentioning the things we have experienced in the past, and the brief was to talk like we didn't know each other."
The revelation caused a stir online, with many fans shocked by the beef between the two. Some fans sided with Lasizwe, saying Langa seemed to have an attitude.
