- The apartment has one room, a window and a kitchen and appears very narrow, as shown in the TikTok video
A man shared a video showing a small apartment that costs thousands of randa monthly in New York City.
The video of the tiny apartment was shared on TikTok by Omer Labock, who said it had no toilet or bathroom within.
To use the toilet and bathroom, the tenant would have to step out into the apartment hallway to access the one there.
Getting a micro-apartment in New York City
In the video by @_omerlabock_, it can be seen that the apartment has a kitchen, and the room appears so narrow. It also showed only one window and costs R37 000 per month.

Some TikTok users who saw the apartment in the video said the rent was too high given the size.

Driven 22-year-old woman builds her own bachelor pad
Briefly News previously reported that TikTokker @lionabliss shared a video showcasing how she decided to use her savings to build her own bachelor apartment in the township.
The footage features a montage of clips showing how the home-building project took shape from the planning, the materials, the foundation phase, the walls going up and the fitted roof.
@lionabliss also showed how she rocked basic cornrows throughout December as all her money went toward building the apartment, which she revealed cost her about R38K.
