Myeza sent money back home for a year and 10 months. She trusted her family with the money and had faith that they would use it wisely.

In a TikTok video that she posted on 18 July, she was stunned to see her new home, an enormous mansion with a garage. She could not believe her eyes and teared up at the sight of her hard work.

She captioned her now-viral clip:

“This is the result of the work I've done after spending 1 year and 10 months in South Korea. Farmhouse! Rent-free. If you're a South African currently employed back home, I encourage you to take a leap of faith and explore opportunities in a foreign country-it truly is possible.
“Keep in mind, meanwhile, doing this, I'm saving and living my life at large!

Lately, I've seen many videos where people share negative experiences, which can be discouraging. But remember, everyone's journey is different. Your experience abroad will largely depend on you—how you carry yourself, your mindset, your confidence, and how you choose to navigate and embrace the space you're in.

“So my advice is: don't let fear hold you back. If you feel drawn to China, go to China. If South Korea interests you, come here. Whatever country you're considering, take that leap-you might just surprise yourself.”

Myeza explained that one needs to at least have a university qualification in order to apply for teaching posts abroad.

“I’m Zimbabwean and I’m overseas not by choice, but because of the economic situation in my country. I just pray that 1st world country citizens understand we don’t enjoy being called foreigners in their countries, but we don’t have a choice. I also pray for my brothers and sisters in South Africa that they can be embraced just as South Africans are embarrassed in other foreign countries. Well done, my sis. You’ve done well! It’s never easy to be away from home.”
