A TikTok video shows a young woman at a taxi rank with a French designer accessory. The lady caused a stir on social media after people noticed the type of bag she was using.

The video of the woman made rounds on TikTok, and people did not hold back with their reactions to the clip. Hundreds commented on the video, and most came to her defence.

In a TikTok post by @kgadi41, a woman at a Pretoria taxi rank was standing in line to catch a taxi. The camera zoomed in on the woman's Louis Vuitton handbag, a Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM, implying that it did not fit in a taxi rank. The LV bag is valued from R16 000, depending on the exact type.

South Africa supports taxi user with LV bag

Many people were convinced that the lady was carrying a genuine Louis Vuitton bag, and wanted to know where the problem was. Others argued that secondhand Louis Vuitton bags are easily available. Some online users relayed their stories of how they got designer items without buying. Watch the video of the woman with LV at a taxi rank and read people's comments below:
