Curro became a hot topic on social media once again. This time, the school got people's attention because of the school fees at a Nelspruit branch.

The tuition for primary school kids at a Curro Nelspruit received a million views. People were amazed by how much private schools required parents to pay just for their children to start school.

A netizen @AyndaMthimkhulu shared the tuition fees circular from Curro Nelspruit, receiving 1 million likes after asking how much the teachers at the school earn. The document revealed that in 2026, the fee structure for Frade R at Curro Nelspruit would be R6,150 per month or R73,800 for the year. From grades 1 to 2, parents would be required to pay R77,160 for the year. From there, the fees go up by more than R10,000 between grades 3 and 5. Grade 6 and 7 pay R93,720 for the year. The parents must also pay an enrollment fee of R4,620, which is non-refundable.
