A South African woman has sent KFC fans into a frenzy after revealing she scored a Streetwise 2 for just R2 using a little-known deal on the KFC app. @u_zziii posted the selfie-style clip on 8 September 2026, filmed inside her car while clutching KFC bags.

The on-screen caption said it all: "KFC Streetwise 2 for only R2, please don't walk, run!!!" In the video, she excitedly explained that she refused to keep the hack to herself, since her mother does not own KFC. Her advice was simple: download the KFC app, sign in for the first time, and a QR code will appear on the KFC screen in-store.

Scanning that code on the app unlocks the option to redeem the Streetwise 2 at R2. @u_zziii added that she was not sure whether the deal could be claimed for free without adding the R2, but decided two rand was too good to pass up regardless. The offer is tied to the KFC Rewards programme, available to customers signing in for the first time through the app. She noted that she initially tried to order online but could not get it to work, so she went directly to the store and scanned the QR code at the counter instead. A fellow commenter confirmed the process, explaining that customers should sign up from the in-store screen and then scan to redeem the reward package.
