Reflecting on what it felt like to walk in and hear those powerful words spoken over her daughter after a difficult pregnancy journey, she shared:

"I knew my friends were planning a sip and see, as I did not have a baby shower due to pregnancy complications. I didn’t know the details, though, of how the lunch would go, and because Iyana is just 4 months, I didn’t expect anything of that nature, of her even getting praises. Hearing those words touched me, especially coming from people who know my journey, my struggles, to the point of being blessed with a living husband and welcoming Iyana despite challenges."

Opening up about the element of surprise behind the traditional praise singing and the symbolic arrival of the rain, she revealed:

"I didn’t expect them to make something that beautiful for my daughter; I thought it was a small lunch. What made it more beautiful was the fact that when Iyana landed in Joburg, the rain started (of course it’s a coincidence), but it still felt good, especially because her clan name is Mafuza Fulele njenge lifu lemvula. I got admitted three times in my pregnancy, and when I was 37 weeks, Iyana’s movement slowed, went to the hospital and got induced, and there she was. This, for me, was everything, and the fact that Iyana calmly sat there—she never cried throughout, even at night."

Describing the heartwarming response and love received across her online platforms, she added:
