A security company has rewarded one of their staff with a job promotion and salary increase after he became a viral sensation online.

Via TikTok, the young man shared a video in which he wore his work security outfit and revealed that his girlfriend dumped him because he earns R700 (N60k) monthly.

The security company reacts

In response to the video, his company's handle praised him for his diligence at work and stated that he had been contacted regarding a promotion. They also added that his salary has been tripled.

The company's response:

"He has been a diligent operative so far. We’ve reached him for a promotion already. His salary has been tripled."

In another breakup-related fiasco, Briefly News reported on a story of a post showing screenshots of messages a woman sent to her man as a breakup. In the texts, the lady listed several reasons she wanted to break up after being patient for two months.

The woman said she couldn't be in a relationship because her man had no money to give her for face creams, hair, gifts for a friend, or even to go out. The post went viral as people gave their take on the woman who seemed to know what she wanted.
