A heartbroken woman has opened up about her challenges in marriage.

Ruth Ndwanzi admitted she did not have a healthy romantic relationship, as far as she could recall.

However, she vividly recounted entering her first serious relationship, which led to marriage, but it was not a smooth ride either.

She said she dated her life's love for two years before they settled for marriage.

"I worked as a storekeeper there, and while I was there, a construction crew started working around that area. I got to know one of them, and we fell in love. We dated for two years before we got married. I had been fired because some things had gotten lost and they had accused me of stealing them. So while living with the guy, life got hard; there was no food, no money, and work was hard to find," she narrated.

Ndwanzi noted she remained in that marriage for at least eight years, enduring the challenges that came with it.

There were a lot of struggles, as she could point out, including not bearing children for all those years.

"I didn't get kids, and that was where the problem originated. He left me. We had moved from where we were staying and bought land elsewhere. When we bought land there, I think that was when he started seeing another woman, and he married her," she said.
