A woman is in great distress after her husband of three years decided to leave her despite the support she had shown him throughout their marriage.
Woman narrates her heartbreak
Faith Kaini said that since 2019, she had supported her now ex-husband when he was unemployed, but as soon as he got a new job, he confessed that he was using her and that he did not love her.
Faith said their marriage ended in 2022 after his hurtful words and a confession, and though she is ready to move on, there is one problem: a piece of land.
The mother of one said she took a loan during their marriage and decided to buy a piece of land to secure their future.
"The problem is I put his name on the title deed and he is refusing to surrender the full rights of the shamba to me. Each time I contact him to consent to have his name removed from the deed, he refuses and says he will only accept if the name of our child's name is the one that will be put on it," she said.
However, since Faith solely financed the land, she wants it back so that she can decide what to do with it.
Hurtful WhatsApp messages
She shared screenshots of her conversation with her ex-husband in which he bluntly confessed that he did not love her.
In the chats, the man also flaunted his new assets since getting his new job, and the woman's insistence on having the land back went unheard.
"Know hakuna kitu nlikuwa nategemea kwako. I did not spend on you because I did not love you. Nlikuwa najishikilia nipate job nikuache," the man's message to the woman read.
Faith said she is ready to move on from the marriage as long as she gets the land, which she took a loan to finance. She hopes to find any help to help her get back the full rights to the parcel of land.
