Butler, from the US, took to Facebook to reveal that she had been waiting for her husband to come home from prison for over a decade.

On Friday, 7 June, she posted a picture of herself with the man, celebrating his finally being free.

"I waited 13 years for this. If solid was a person. Ain’t no more FREE my husband…..My husband free. Thank you, God," she wrote.
