A teacher has expressed her delight after reuniting with her pupils after schools reopened after a long holiday.

Most schools remained closed for an extended period following heavy rainfall across the country that led to destructive floods.

The happy teacher, Marion Mukenyi, shared a video welcoming her pupils back to school.

"New term, new experience. Happy times. Be our guest," read the video caption.

In the heartwarming clip, Mukenyi welcomed her pupils in style as she joyfully danced with them.

Each one had an opportunity to approach the teacher in front of the class, greet her and dance before they returned to their seats.

"Welcome back. Term two begins today," read the writing on the blackboard with two smiley drawings.

Each pupil who approached teacher Mukenyi looked happy and had some energy while dancing with her.

The generous teacher told Briefly News that she teaches in a rural area where kids face various challenges and poverty. While some netizens wondered how much the pizzas cost in total, others commended the woman on her kindness.
