Boss Babes of South Africa is marking a major milestone as the empowerment platform celebrates five years of inspiring and motivating South African women.
Founded by Johannesburg-based Kovini Moodley in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, the platform has grown into one of the country's largest organically grown digital communities with over 140,000 followers.
To celebrate this achievement and Women's Month 2025, Boss Babes has launched #ShareSisonke, a proudly South African skills-sharing initiative. Boss Babes of Mzansi transforms lives
Moodley, who was recently named Risk Manager of the Year 2024 by the Institute of Risk Management South Africa and currently works as Strategic Lead at Deloitte Africa, brings over 18 years of experience in Risk, Audit, Consulting and Governance to her platform. From her humble beginnings in Shallcross near Durban, she explains her vision:
