SportyTV Secures Exclusive FTA FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ Television Rights

The channel will show 26 tournament games including FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ Final, and announce the launch of SportyTV and SportyFM in Kenya

Ahead of the sporting and football event of the year, SportyTV, the leading free-to-air broadcaster in Africa, today announced it has reached an agreement with Iris Sport Media to acquire the exclusive free-to-air rights in Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana, and Kenya for 26 of 63 matches in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™. The matches will be available for viewing on SportyTV, Sporty.com. The announcement comes as SportyTV prepares to launch its free broadcasting service in Kenya, the week prior to the commencement of the tournament.

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ kicks off on June 14 in Miami with action spanning twelve venues across the United States and culminating with the final at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The tournament features 32 teams hailing from six continents, as competition includes numerous global club juggernauts. In addition to extensive group stage coverage on SportyTV, fans will also have access to three matches from the round of 16, two quarter-final matches, one semi-final, and the final match. South African football fans will have access to every match for the Confederation of African Football (CAF) local team, Mamelodi Sundowns, where they’ll play alongside Borussia Dortmund (Germany), Fluminense (Brazil), and Ulsan HD (South Korea) within Group F of the tournament.
