Loyiso Bala unhappy with Cassper Nyovest’s view on AKA’s performance

There has been a mixed reaction with regards to AKA using autotune. After Cassper Nyovest made the remark that AKA’s performance was very pap, Loyiso Bala replied with a totally opposite response. Loyiso’s opinion is that AKA’s performance was the best of the evening.

There were some of AKA’s fans that also felt unsure about the use of autotune. They mentioned that it was a bit of an overkill.

Briefly.co.za knows that Loyiso is no amateur and has a number of awards under his belt. He is known as the best musical vocalist to emerge from South Africa.

He was the winner of the 2010 South African Music Awards, 1999 saw him walking away with the award for Best Faith Album, he has won three Metro FM Awards, five SA Music Awards and in 2008 he won Best R&B and Best Producer.

In 2009 and 2010, he was nominated for Best Song. He was also nominated in the MTV awards alongside Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Akon and P Square. Moving away from the musical side of things, Loyiso has also received a number of style awards, like YOU magazine and GQ’s most stylish male in the country.

This will bring some joy to AKA’s fans knowing that not everyone was not happy with their idol’s performance. Loyiso’s tweet went into detail, referring to AKA as a great performer and mega-talented rapper with undeniable superstar quality.
