Leroy Gopal age is 41 years now. He was born on 6th July 1979 in Harare, Zimbabwe. He played football from the age of three years, and at the age of seven years, he appeared on television for the first time in a Zimbabwean TV show called Paraffin.
He went to Budiriro Primary School, Glen View High School, and Hartzell High School. Upon completing his high school education, Gopal enrolled in a drama and theatre course at Masvingo Catholic College. He also got a Bachelors' degree in live performance and motion picture from AFDA.
He acted in the film Adventure Unlimited in 1996 and Choose Freedom in 1998. They focused on teenage lifestyles and Christianity. In 2000, Leroy got a lead role, Tiyane Tsumba, in a soccer-themed movie named Yellow Card. Tiyane was at a crossroads between pursuing his goal to play in a prominent football league and winning over the love of his life because he got her pregnant.
In 2012, he appeared in Ses'Top La as Oleshe, SABC1's sitcom, as BEE's neighbour. He was a wealthy ladies' man, but he was in love with Phumi. The role enabled him to win the SAFTA Best Actor in Comedy Award in 2013.
