His father, Sello Chicco Twala, is a legendary musician & business magnate, and his mother is Thembi. Longwe Twala parents divorced due to claims made by Chicco that Thembi was cheating on him. The misleading claims appear to stem from the fact that Longwe Twala was present at the house of Senzo Meyiwa's girlfriend, popstar Kelly Khumalo, the night he was killed.
