Biography
The actor was born in South Africa on 3rd February 1978. Unfortunately, there is no information about his parents. The actor is well educated and fluent in English and Afrikaans. For his high school education, he went to Livingstone High School, located in Cape Town. After high school, he attended the University of Cape Town which he graduated in 1999 with a performer's diploma in speech and drama.

Over the years, Hector has established a name for himself as a professional within the acting industry. He has done various projects in theatre, film, television, and voice-overs. In the music industry, he also managed to get himself known. This was after breaking out into the music scene with the RnB band, The Black Ties.
Acting career
The actor began an expansive acting career not only in film and television but also in theatre. In television, his official debut came in 2007 when he appeared as a supporting cast for the SABC2 comedy series Kompleks. Between 2008 to 2009, he starred in two series, the SABC2 comedy-drama Khululeka and Montana, the SABC1 drama series.
From 2013-2015, Lee had a major role in the BBC Three military comedy-drama series Bluestone 42. After the Bluestone 42 series, he played the role of a lecturer in the SABC1 romantic comedy-drama series Forced Love. As from 2017, the actor had a recurring role of the pastor in the kykNET drama series Sara se Geheim (Sara's Secret). His appearance in the series ran through for two seasons.
The year 2020 also seemed to be a great year for Lee. The actor landed a major recurring role starring as Boeta Noor in the SABC2 period comedy-drama The Riviera. Within the same year, he also landed a starring role in a kykNET new drama series Kompleks. The series premiered in September of 2020. Another movie he also landed in 2020 was Bloodshot. Keeno-Lee Hector in Bloodshot starred as RST Tech. Other recurring roles he has had are Syfy series Vagrant Queen and CBeebies fantasy drama series Jamillah and Aladdin.
