Former Miss South Africa Marilyn Ramos was born on 16th February 1991 in Klerksdorp, South Africa. She is of Portuguese and coloured South African descent. Her parents are Yolandi and Victor Ramos. She studied interior architecture at Pretoria based Inscape Design College.

Marilyn Ramos husband is Louwrens Mahoney, a South African motorcycling champion. The couple got engaged in April 2018 and held their wedding in November 2018.

In December 2020, Louwrens Mahoney’s wife announced that she is expectant. The couple recently revealed that Marilyn Ramos baby boy will arrive in June 2021.

Marilyn Ramos Miss SA

She was crowned Miss South Africa 2012 and went ahead to represent the country at Miss World 2013 and Miss Universe 2013. The girl won the beauty pageant title after trying twice. She was also the longest-serving Miss SA as she held the title for 16 months.

At the end of her term in 2013, a local tabloid labelled her the worst Miss SA the country has ever had. She rarely appeared in the media and the public as a titleholder. In her defence, the former pageant titleholder said she had no PR nor a clothing sponsor but had to do everything on her budget.

Marilyn Ramos today

Louwrens Mahoney’s wife has not shared what she has been doing since Miss SA 2012. She seems to be focused on the new life she now shares with Louwrens Mahoney.
