AKA Was Considered as 'Imali Eningi' Feature, Says Big Zulu

- Big Zulu recently opened up about which rappers he considered having on the hit track Imali Eningi

- The KZN rapper revealed that AKA was one of the names that were considered, along with Kwesta and Cassper Nyovest

- Big Zulu eventually decided on Riky Rick and said he was happy with his decision

Imali Eningi has become Big Zulu’s biggest hit. The track features Intaba Yase Dubai and Riky Rick. Speaking in a podcast with MacG recently, Big Zulu revealed that he did consider other rappers to feature on the song before eventually deciding on Riky Rick.

AKA, Cassper Nyovest and Kwesta were some of the big names in consideration. The rapper said that he realized Riky would be perfect for the kind of sound he was looking for.

He reached out to Riky and the Ungazincishi hitmaker was glad to deliver.

Meanwhile Briefly.co.za previously reported that Big Zulu's four singles have gone platinum. The excited rapper took to social media recently to share his good news.

The talented musician took to Twitter to share that Isiginci, Vuma Dlozi, Imali Eningi and Ama Million have received platinum plaques. The Imali Eningi hitmaker worked with the likes of Cassper Nyovest, Musiholiq, Riky Rick and Intaba Yase Dubai on the hot singles.

Big Zulu is one of Mzansi rappers who are doing very well in terms of music streaming and sales. He gained a lot of fans in December 2020 when he dropped Imali Eningi.

In related news, Briefly.co.za reported that Big Zulu's new song Inhlupheko has hit Number 1 on iTunes. The rapper only dropped the track on 12 March, 2021. He features singer Mduduzi Ncube.

The KwaZulu-Natal-born star took to Twitter recently to share a screenshot of iTunes where his new single was sitting comfortably at the Number 1 spot. According to the screenshot, his massive hit Imali Eningi was sitting at Number 2.
