A Tammy Taylor franchisee alleges that South African reality TV stars Melany and Peet Viljoen have relocated to the USA with her millions.
The popular couple, who recently made headlines when a US court ordered them to pay R71 million to businesswoman Tammy Taylor, are reportedly living in Miami.
The Citizen reports that the Tammy Taylor franchisee, Hantie Oosthuyzen, shared she's 'learnt her lesson' after the Viljoens allegedly used her millions to move to Miami.
According to the publication, Oosthuyzen used some of her late husband's investments to pay for the salons and her share in Tammy Taylor Global Franchising.

Oosthuyzen, who reportedly has a minor child and still works in her profession, reportedly has her lawyers investigating the matter.
According to reports, Peet Viljoen revealed in a video on social media that Oosthuyzen, who paid R5.8 million, became “weird” when they addressed the issue on WhatsApp.
Oosthuyzen responded in an interview with The Citizen:
"You become weird when you are misled, and you receive false information."
Social media user @burnerburnerac recently shared on her X account that the Viljoens have sold all their properties and have relocated to Miami.
Briefly News asked financial expert Fulufhelani Mashapha which financial strategies entrepreneurs rely on to handle high-risk international relocations. She explained:
"When entrepreneurs take on high-risk international relocations, especially with large sums involved, the key is careful planning and separation of personal and business finances."
South Africans lambast the reality TV stars
@1blackteacup commented:
"Hijacked a global brand, and now they’re hiding in Miami like they’re escaping a witch hunt. Soft life scammers come in all flavours. Peet just swapped amapiano captions for palm trees and legal papers. SA fraud, US zip code."
@BiancavanWyk16 reacted:
"I don’t think the US is going to be kind to them."
@sirboring_26 responded:
"Why would they escape to the USA when Tammy Taylor could have them locked up there? They fled to Dubai."
@Victori98500419 wrote:
"I want her to lose everything cause she's indeed a dumb blonde, and after scamming people, she deserves her day in hell."
@LordFarqu44d said:
"Didn’t they make millions from black and white South Africans by illegally selling and dealing in Tammy Taylor and running it as their ‘own’? Plastic face must take Trump’s offer and leave us TF out of that BS."
@Kanyi_kaMthembu replied:
"Poor Happy, 'her majesty' was also scammed by being sold the TT franchise (allegedly). She paid and never got the business; now they are gone."
