Famous Afrobeats superstar David "Davido" Adeleke has married his long-time girlfriend and mother of his children, Chioma Rowland.

The pair celebrated their union in an extravagant white wedding in Miami, USA, on 9 August 2025, and hosted hundreds of their friends and relatives, who came together to celebrate their union.

The couple dressed to impress in high-end designer garments, with Davido gifting his bride with a $300,000 (R5 327,000) Richard Mille diamond wristwatch.

What made the details even more sentimental was the singer's custom cufflinks, which had pictures of the couple's late son, Ifeanyi.

The three-year-old died in October 2022 after a drowning accident at his grandfather's house in Lagos, Nigeria.

The lavish ceremony was captured by celebrity photographer Stanley Babb, who shared a look inside the star-studded reception, attended by top Nigerian public figures like billionaire Aliko Dangote and international musicians, including Kirk Franklin.

So it was no surprise when the festivities turned into an impromptu event, with Davido performing for thousands of his guests while his wife danced on stage with him.

And the price tag? According to a video posted by afrika.world, the Funds singer spent a whopping $3.7 million (R65 million) on his wedding:

"We spent $3.7 million cash. You should know how I do it, we're going crazy!"
