She is one of the biggest vocalists in the Amapiano scene, has several hit singles under her belt and, because of her success, enjoys a life of luxury.
But MaWhoo is longing for something money can't buy — a family of her own.
The 31-year-old opened up to Daily Sun about her desire to be a mother.
"That's my biggest dream," she told the publication.
"I can afford anything I want, but now I need a family. I am a family person, and I want to have my own kids."
The singer and songwriter, born Thandeka Nontobeko Ngema, was previously linked to Maskandi artist Mthandeni, but the pair never publicly confirmed their romance.
However, what she has confirmed is that she has remained celibate. MaWhoo shared online in April 2025 that she has never been intimate with a man.
Fans found her claim hard to believe because she has an OnlyFans account.
MaWhoo in a messy legal battle
In May 2025, the singer found herself in a legal dispute with Blue Screen Entertainment. The events company hit the songstress with a R1 million defamation lawsuit after she sent them a voice note claiming the owner was a scammer.
Blue Screen Entertainment demanded a letter of apology from the singer, and if she didn't meet the deadline, she would have to pay up.
The drama started after her performance at the Durban Music Festival, which was presented by Blue Screen Entertainment and featured a headline performance by American rapper Rick Ross.
The company maintains that the singer was paid in full for her time on stage.
MaWhoo continues climbing the charts
Despite her legal woes, MaWhoo continues to have an exceptional year musically.
In August 2025, she revealed that her song, Bengicela, hit 45 million streams across all digital platform services.

The singer shared the good news on social media and added that the song's success is an answered prayer.
"When I wrote this song, I asked God for more open doors, and it has gone on to achieve so much in such a short space of time."
Her previous project, Uzizwa Kanjan, went on to become one of the most-streamed songs in South Africa this year and amassed more than two million views on YouTube.
MaWhoo told Daily Sun it's "priceless" to see people from different backgrounds belt out the lyrics to her songs.
