It seems as though some South African rappers just do not want to freestyle. What was once seen as an art form in the hip hop world seems to be dying as more and more rappers are just not budging.

The latest rapper to turn down a freestyle request was Zingah, who put his foot down and told Speedsta that he would not be rapping on his show.

Hip hop DJ and radio host Speedsta hosts the 5 Hip Hop Nights segment on 5FM. On the show, he invites guests and asks them to freestyle, but K.Keed cowardly refused.

In an Instagram video posted by Speedsta, Zingah told him that he would not be freestyling. He revealed that when he came to the show, he told Speedsta that he was not interested in freestyling.

“Speedsta, I told you when I came here, you're not going to make me rap. You can't make me rap, dawg. How are you going to make me rap? You know how I came up.”

However, he further stated that he was not interested in rapping for just anybody, saying he would rather freestyle for Scoop Makhathini or Sizwe Dhlomo.

“If your name isn't Siz or Scoop, I am not rapping for you,” he stated.

Zingah then poked fun at the situation by posting a video of US rapper Vince Chase, refusing to freestyle for Charlamagne Tha God.
