Tributes Pour in Following Legendary US Actress Diane Keaton’s Death: “I Am Heartbroken”

Sad news hit the entertainment industry globally as they have lost one of the legendary stars, the Oscar-winning actress Diane Keaton, who passed away at the age of 79.

On Saturday, 11 October 2025, the family of the Annie Hall star confirmed and announced that Keaton had died on that day after it was reported that she had a long battle with cancer and bulimia.

Keaton passed away three months after The Cosby Show actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner died at the age of 54.

One of her friends, who is an actor and film producer, Henry Winkler, also shared his heartbreak after hearing the news about Keaton on social media and wrote:

"Diane was a really good friend of ours. We laughed a lot. What an extraordinarily talented woman. Diane, you will be so missed on Earth. Rest sweetly as sweet as you have been to everyone you have met. Love, Henry and Stacey."
