"Literally, nothing that I'm doing, and I feel like a lot of us are doing, because we are trying to do it for ourselves, it's really to just make sure that Kairo is okay," she said.
She added that her husband, Murdah Bongz, whose real name is Bongani Mohosana, is fully aligned with this approach. "Even Bongani, like all of us are just trying to make sure that the child is okay."
She also responded to questions about why she continues to keep the Forbes family visible in her life. "What do I do with the Forbes? Do I throw them away? And then what happens to my child? You know, it's not logical," she said plainly. "I'm not saying I'm apologetic about it, but I just need people to have that understanding that literally every single decision we are making is for Cairo to be okay. It's just to be there for Cairo to feel like it's normal."

Beyond defending her choices around motherhood, Zinhle also spoke about the personal value system that guides her. "I value peace a lot. Oh my gosh, I value peace so much. It's the one thing that has governed our relationships, even within the family, within how we move," she said. "And I will always make a decision from a place of peace."
Her remarks offer a rare and unfiltered look into the emotional balancing act she has been managing since AKA was shot and killed in Durban in February 2023, a loss that shook South Africa's entertainment industry deeply.
