The dig came on the back of fresh developments in Nota's ongoing legal battle with DJ Black Coffee. The Johannesburg High Court recently ordered Baloyi to file his heads of argument within 10 court days as part of contempt proceedings that carry a potential 60-day jail sentence.
Shimza, a close friend of Black Coffee, responded to the news by sharing a video of veteran Lesedi FM broadcaster Thuso "Ntate Thuso" Motaung. In the clip, the beloved radio host delivered a blunt message aimed at people who live far beyond their financial means, saying: "You have no money, but the things you do are for people who have money."
The implication was crystal clear. Shimza was pointing the finger squarely at Nota and the legal quicksand he finds himself sinking deeper into.
