Podcast host Ngizwe Mchunu has found himself at the centre of social media backlash after a clip from the Bhinca Nation show went viral on X. In the footage, Ngizwe appears to mock anti-illegal immigration activist Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma for not receiving a car, in what he frames as lighthearted teasing.

The clip was shared on X by @NgizweMchunnu on Wednesday, 7 October 2026, and was taken from the Bhinca Nation episode that aired on Tuesday, 6 October 2026, on YouTube. The on-screen caption overlay reads "Ngizwe Mchunu making fun of Jacinta because she didn't get a car," accompanied by shocked-face and hooded-figure emojis, giving the clip a comedic, teasing framing typical of viral reaction content.

Responses poured in from South Africans who felt the mockery was unwarranted, particularly given Jacinta's role in leading the March and March anti-illegal immigration movement.

@AdvocateCab wrote, tagging Sol Phenduka:

"You were wondering why the Bhinca nation isn't doing well. There you have it! We can waste our time watching a grown man make fun of a woman, a woman that wanted to change South Africa. Get rid of Ngizwe and his co-host."

@LibraYono pushed back in defence of Jacinta:

"She doesn't need a donated vehicle. The vehicle she rides in costs more than both cars gifted to Ngizwe and Phakelumthakathi."

@MissKreNative offered a pointed observation:

"J would be far if she didn't associate with these men."

The clip has reignited questions about the direction of the Bhinca Nation platform, with critics calling the segment a poor look for the show. Several commenters pointed out that ridiculing a woman who has become a prominent face of the anti-illegal immigration movement in South Africa sits awkwardly with the podcast's positioning.

Mzansi was divided over the claims, with many pointing out that Sfiso appeared visibly drunk throughout the interview.
