Pet Collector Claims She Owns Dog Worth R126k: “I Got It From Russia”

Brenda Michelle, a Kenyan pet enthusiast with over 30 pets, has opened up about her passion for pets and her reason for collecting them.

In an interview on Radio Maisha, she disclosed that she loves pets, comparing it to how some people cherish and collect cars.

"I collect...vile kama wewe utaenda ucollect gari useme napenda hii gari ( just like if you were to go and collect cars, you'd say, 'I love this car') it's the same for me now with dogs and cats and whatever other thing I can get my hands on," she said.

How much does Brenda Michelle spend on pets?

When asked how much her pets cost, Brenda disclosed that her most prized dog is worth R126k, with the least expensive one costing her R8k

This R126k pet is a fully grown male Chow Chow imported from Russia, making it the crown jewel of her collection.

"Ule ghali kabisa mwenye niko naye (The most expensive one is this one) . It's grown Chow Chow male got it from Russia," she said in an interview on Radio Maisha.

What makes Chow Chows unique?

According to the American Kernel Club, Chow Chows are known for their majestic appearance.

Their unique features include a mane-like ruff around the head and shoulders, a distinctive blue-black tongue, deep-set almond-shaped eyes contributing to their brooding, aloof expression, and a peculiar stiff-legged gait.

Available in a variety of coat colours such as red, black, blue, cinnamon, or cream, Chows can sport either rough or smooth fur textures.

Snake enthusiast stuns many with impressive collection

In other collection-related stories, Briefly News recently reported about a young man from Limpopo who went viral on social media due to his exciting collection. In the post, he can be seen standing with a giant snake wrapped around him. The gentleman revealed that he had more than 15 giant snakes inside buckets and jars in his home.
