A woman shared a devastating story of heartbreak and betrayal after her cheating husband cut her off financially, causing a painful rift in her family.

The emotional story shared on The Best T In The City on Kaya 959 was met with a mix of shock and dismay from both him and the expert on the show.

The woman began her story by saying she had caught her husband cheating on her several times. She said she even went to his father to ask him to talk to his son, but was told to pack her things and leave, as he had already tried to talk to him without success. She noted that she reached her breaking point and, with her daughter, found a new place to stay.

The woman leaves her cheating husband

In anger, her husband stopped supporting his child. Her father-in-law, however, stepped in and, without fail, would bring groceries, money, and spend time with his granddaughter every month. Unfortunately, in May, the grandfather said he wouldn't continue supporting them as his son had financially cut him off after finding out he was assisting them. The furious wife shared that she was ready to file for divorce, saying she wanted 'more than half of what he has,' and was ok with being called bitter.

An expert offers advice

The expert on the show was disappointed by the man's actions. He said he wondered if the man was raised by his father. He noted that his actions suggested he did not understand the importance of a father's love for a child, especially a girl. He warned that this lack of love might cause her to look for love from older men later in life.

He also lambasted the man for cutting off the relationship between his daughter and her grandfather, calling his actions inexcusable. The expert said he could not defend the man's behaviour. When responding to the woman's thoughts about divorce, he warned her to be emotionally and financially ready for the battle that was to come.
