Comedian explains his dessert song
While speaking to Briefly News, Keith, who is actually in a relationship, shared what gave him the idea to refer to his 'crush' as a dessert in his song:
"The idea came from the desire to explain to her that she excites me as much as a good dessert does. I have a sweet tooth, and my love for dessert may need an intervention, but that made it easy to refer to my crush as dessert."
Regarding his song-writing process, Keith explained that it varies, as it could start with either an idea or a word.
"You start to repeat the word over and over again in your head. Soon, you start singing the word in different styles and genres, and then you sing it in a style that sounds good to you and boom, you are on to something.
"The rest of the words are then built from there. That is one of the main processes I go through. Obviously, afterwards, you have to find the right beat or type of beat and record the song."
