Also included in the field of play was Ronaldinho Gaúcho, who played at PSG at the height of his career.

In a trending video, Jay Jay and Ronaldinho were spotted in the field as they were on opposing sides.

The game was about to start, and the referee spoke to Okocha and Ronaldinho in the middle of the field.

The video, shared by Pooja on the X platform, excited many Nigerians who witnessed Nigeria beat Bafana Bafana.

This was after Okocha addressed Nigerians criticising his nephew over his performance at the just concluded AFCON.

Nwabali allegedly threatened by South Africa, SA denies the claims

Meanwhile, Briefly News reported that former Nigerian footballer Idah Peterside accused South Africans of threatening Nigerian goalkeeper Stanley Nwabili.

Peterside spoke in a recent interview and claimed that South Africans were sending Nwabili messages on social media telling him not to return to Mzansi for Chippa United, which he plays for.

South Africans slammed Soccer Laduma for publishing blatant lies and strongly condemned the action, stating they are proud of Nwabili.
