AKA is not really known for giving credit to other artists, but he caused a bit of a buzz on social media when he went on a Twitter spree where he actually praised his fellow rappers. However, it wasn’t all good as AKA had to fire shots at his arch-rival, Cassper Nyovest.

Supa Mega held a mini Q & A session on social media where he was asked to rank his favourite local rappers, which was what drove AKA to actually say something nice about people other than himself.

According to the ‘Fela in Versace’ hit-maker, Nasty C and Stogie T would be at the very top of his list when it comes to rappers in Mzansi.

He seemed to be particularly fond of Nasty C and AKA believes that the young rapper is one to watch as he sees a lot of potential in him.

Naturally, AKA’s name appeared on his list of, which really is no surprise. He did just win Drama Queen of the Year at the Feather Awards last week.

According to TimesLIVE, the last person on his list was simply called “the other guy”, but tweeps knew that he could only be referring to Cassper Nyovest.

Briefly.co.za learned that AKA and Cassper have had some sort of beef for quite a while now and it’s been so long, nobody really remembers how it all began.

The two rappers were preparing to call a truce, however, that idea didn’t last too long and it seems like AKA is looking to stir up some sort of reaction.

Although Cassper seems to have mellowed out recently and he hasn’t been firing back at anyone who criticises him, so maybe AKA might not get the response he was after.

Mufasa also appears to have moved on and was recently seen dancing to ‘Fela In Versace’ which got a lot of tongues wagging.
