Early life and education
Kandyse McClure hails from Durban, South Africa, where she was born on March 22, 1980. She lived in South Africa with her parents and grandparents until she was eleven and then they moved to North America for three years. She then went back to South Africa before leaving for Canada at the age of seventeen. McClure is of a Cape Coloured descent. It is yet not known who her parents are or whether she has siblings or not. Also, not much is known about her childhood. We just know that she went to West Vancouver Secondary School from where she graduated in 1998.
The beautiful actress will be turning 40 on the 22nd of March of 2020, but age is not a problem for her.
Kandyse has managed to keep her life private for not much is known about her and her husband Ian Cylenz Lee, a musician and the owner of Black Gold Production. We are all in the dark on how the couple met, their courtship, or even when and where they got married. As a matter of fact, many knew that she was married when she mentioned 'my husband' in an interview with news 24. It is also hard to tell whether the couple has children or not.

Her career as a professional actress took off when she landed her first gig in 1999 where she played a role in the movie, In a Class of His Own. This role was actually her first-ever audition, which shows it was her destiny to become an actress. The following year she landed a small part in the movie, Romeo Must Die, and she played other characters in the Fox family teen drama, Higher Ground and the TV series Da Vinci's Inquest. She appeared in the film Jeremiah, a post-apocalyptic drama, as Elizabeth Munroe in 2002. McClure played Anastasia Dee Duala in Battlestar Galactia for six years (2003-2009).
In 2003, she played Gwen in The Twilight zone, and she also appeared in the TV films Hollywood Housewives, Backlash, Battlestar Galactia and Jake 2.0. The talented actress has also starred as Angie Alvarez in the erotic thriller, Careful What You Wish For, together with Nick Jonas, Isabel Lucas, and Graham Rogers as her co-stars. McClure has featured in so many other movies, TV shows, and series like:

The actress has received many awards. She was awarded for Excellence in Television in Peabody Awards, and in Leo Awards, she was nominated the Best Supporting Actress in Carrie.
Besides acting, McClure gives back to the community as she works with CARE Canada, a non-profit organisation that addresses issues related to poverty in developing nations.
