Nasty C claims to have no competition in African hip hop. The Crazy Crazy hitmaker spoke on The L-Tido Podcast saying he hasn't met a rapper who dropped his jaw or made him feel intimidated. Online users rubbished his claims, stating that there are far better emcees on the continent than him.
Nasty C claims African rap superiority
In a viral TikTok clip by dream_media.za, Nasty C spoke on The L-Tido Podcast about being the best rapper not only in South Africa, but in Africa as a whole.
The rapper had a successful album release with I Love It Here in September and as he nears the end of his tour with Cassper Nyovest, it seems the Bad Hair rapper's self-confidence has skyrocketed.

When asked who he believes can "give him the smoke" lyrically, Nasty added to his claims by saying that he's on the same level as Jay-Z and J. Cole:
"In the world, because of where I am right now and the way I write, I have to say J. Cole and I have to say Jay-Z."
He went on:
"The way they write is so insane, it's never been so direct but at the same time, so colourful and multi-layered."
A Nigerian rapper by the name of Chinko Ekun challenged the Bad Hair rapper and his tour mate Cassper Nyovest to a rap battle, with Ekun claiming that he could out-rap them both.
