Actress Pearl Thusi's daughter, Thando Mokoena, recently had social media buzzing when she scored a role on hit teen drama Youngins.

Mokoena has joined the third and final season of the Showmax drama series with popular YouTuber Ghost Hlubi.

Showmax recently announced that the hit teen drama series Youngins was filming its third and final season.

Streaming platform Showmax confirmed on Friday, 12 September 2025, via Instagram that Thando Mokoena and Ghost Hlubi will be part of the 3rd and final season of Youngins.

The Showmax popular TV show is led by Amo, played by actress Ayakha Ntunja, who currently stars in popular isiXhosa telenovela Inimba, and Buhle, played by Kealeboga Masango, who stars in Mzansi Magic's Genesis.

Other cast members include Tumelo, played by Lebohang Lephatsoana, and Mahlatse, played by former The River actor Thabiso Ramotshela.

Rising star Toka Mtabane portrays the character of Khaya, while Generations: The Legacy star Tabile Tau portrays the role of Sefako. Newcomers Amogelang Telekelo and Kadia Banyini play the roles of Palesa and Mazambane.

Actress and casting director Keneilwe Matidze also brings to life the vivacious Life Orientation High School as Teacher Pearl.
