The shirtless Bonga, representing Johannesburg, was captured on video issuing a direct challenge to Alostro, a homeless man from Pretoria who, from time to time, is associated with substance abuse. Bonga confidently declared he would win by knockout, and even featured an animated video to illustrate his proposed victory.

In a striking moment during the clip, Bonga, with a six-pack, demonstrated his strength by effortlessly carrying a young man over his shoulders, stating that even with such a feat, he would still easily defeat Alostro.
