I don't give people money - Belinda

On Sunday, 9 June, Belinda went live on TikTok, and a woman who claimed to be a single mother and a graduate begged her for money, claiming her children were dying of hunger.

You tell me you've finished school and even graduated, yet I never completed my studies). How can you tell me you are a graduate yet I didn't complete my education? Watoto wako pelekea baba yao! Unaletea matatizo yako hapa na tunapeana advice. Pelekea baba yao (Take those children to their father! You bring your problems here, yet I am giving advice)," she said.
