The intelligent MBA graduate has had quite the controversy when it comes to love. The geoscientist got into a relationship with the famous DJ Sbu, although it was under wraps. In 2013, it was confirmed that Disebo Makatsa and DJ Sbu were engaged and staying together. They were even expecting their first child together.
The couple had a daughter named Waratwa Leope. The relationship yet crumbled in a nasty fashion in 2015. Allegations were that Makatsa dumped her fiancee in preference to business tycoon Edwin Sodi. Their separation caused an uproar online.
The geoscientist got labelled as the sole reason for their break-up. Although the allegations were never confirmed, the geoscientist spoke out to People's Paper:
I'm sick and tired of these rumours. They must stop. DJ Sbu will always remain my baby daddy. What we had-we had, and it's over. Our separation had nothing to do with what people are saying. I've moved on, and at this stage am not going back. I'm not romantically involved with anyone, including Edwin. I'm single and happy. My focus right now is my child and career.
She also added that though people continue to judge her, she respects the DJ, and their separation was amicable. It will only remain that the two are the only ones who know what transpired between them.
