Businesswoman and internet personality Rachel Kolisi looked like a brand-new woman when she took a trip to a hair salon to rejuvenate her golden locks. Social media users loved the look and suggested that Rachel's new hair meant a change in her life.

Rachel took to her TikTok account on 9 September, 2025 to share that she was "getting a BK treatment," a Brazilian Keratin treatment, at Howe Hair, a salon based in Cape Town.

Seemingly the only client in the salon, Rachel enjoyed a cup of coffee and even ran next door to get her eyebrows done while the treatment was setting in her hair.

Noting that she was obsessed with the results, Rachel told fans and followers:

"It lasts for four months, and my hair has never felt better!"

What is a BK treatment?

In an Instagram post, Howe Hair described the BK hair treatment as a versatile and effective progressive smoothing treatment, guaranteeing a sleek finish on all hair types. With its formula based on active ingredients from the Amazon rainforest, it also replenishes nutrients and strengthens hair.
