"An underbite is a term for a dental condition characterized by lower teeth that extend outward farther than the upper front teeth."

In the video, Marie Iwobi showed what her face looked like immediately after. On the first day after the surgery, her jaws looked swollen out of proportion, but it started going down some days later.

The size of her jaws continued down in the video until her face was completely normal and transformed.

In another video, she said she had to do the surgery so that she could breathe properly with her nose and also be able to chew. The video was later shared on other platforms, including X.

Briefly News previously reported that Dr Mahlatse Mothiba, a young plastic surgeon, is trending on Twitter after she posted a selfie after undergoing surgery for 12 hours.

The doctor did a procedure called free flap surgery, which is also called free tissue transfer. This is a reconstructive surgery technique that involves the transfer of skin from one area of the body to another. The attention to the procedure can also be exhausting, but Dr Mothiba looked effortless after it.
