Thembinkosi “Nyoso” Lorch is a South African professional soccer player who plays as an attacking midfielder for Orlando Pirates and the South African national team. He was born on 22 July 1993 in Bloemfontein, South Africa. He has been active in the soccer industry since 2013.
Career
Lorch is best known for his performances as a midfielder for Orlando Pirates. He was named the South African Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season in 2019.
In October 2022, news circulated that Lorch might end up at Kaizer Chiefs or Mamelodi Sundowns.
In July 2023, Lorch submitted a transfer request to Orlando Pirates, but any potential transaction would have to make sense for the parties involved.
Relationship
On 7 September 2020, Lorch was arrested for allegedly assaulting his then-girlfriend, Nokuphiwa Mathithibala.
