Career
DJ Sbu began his career as a radio host on YFM in 2000. He then switched to Metro FM, where he hosted different shows like The Sound Revival, Y-Lens and The Afternoon Drive. He also hosted Friends Like These on SABC 1. He is also a successful music producer and musician, who has made several albums such as Y-Lens Vol. 1, Sound Revival, MoFaya and Home Coming. He started the record label TS Records, which closed down in 2017. He has collaborated with artists such as Zahara, Brown Dash and Naima Kay. He is also an entrepreneur and the creator of the energy drink MoFaya, which he introduced in 2015. He also has a media company called Leadership 2020, which provides mentorship and training to young entrepreneurs. He has authored two books: The Art of Hustling: Sell or Surrender and Billionaires Under Construction.
